Student's in SPECIA

Personal protection for working life is based on anticipation and verifying one’s know-how. Gathering income-limited unemployment allowance during studies gives economical safety for future working life. It’s important to improve knowledge about it to protect oneself from weak employment contracts.

We have over 900 student members who have unionized according to education and branches of science. Most of our students study in educational and humanist faculties and it’s possible to join SPECIA already during studies. Full-time students are released from member fees and as a working student, one only pays membership fees from wage incomes from those working months that collect income-limited unemployment allowance. Student support from government isn't included in member fees.
